Journey...has a new lead singer!!
The legendary rock band Journey, formerly lead by the soaring tenor voice of Steve Perry, has been searching for a new lead singer after Steve was injured in a hiking accident in Hawaii.
And they found Arnel Pineda!!
A Filipino from Quezon City,Arnel was discovered on You Tube doing a cover of Open Arms, and the band contacted him ASAP!!
After a very funny visa interview that he actaully wound up singing "Wheel in the Sky" to his interviewer, he auditioned in the USA and got the gig!!
Journey has just released a new album, Revelations, that is available at Wal-Mart, and while it showcases Arnel's ability to show respect to Journey's past, he earns the fans respect with his beatiful voice, emotion and showmanship as the new frontman of one of the greatest bands to take the stage.
